- 750 grams chicken,cut into pieces
- 3 tablespoon oil
- 6 medium onions finely chopped
- 10-12 garlic cloves
- 3 green chillies
- 1 inch ginger

- 2 teaspoons red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 2 teaspoons garam masala
- 2 teaspoons pav bhaji masala
- 1/2 cup chopped tomato
- 2 tablespoons Yoghurt
- 2 teaspoons cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 2 cups cooked rice
- As required Lemon wedges and masala papad for garnishing

- Heat oil in a kadhai.Add in chopped onions and saute till they turn golden.
- Grind together garlic, green chillies and ginger to a coarse paste using some water.
- Take chicken pieces in a bowl.Add salt,1 teaspoon red chilli powder,1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder,1 teaspoon garam masala powder and 1 teaspoon pav bhaji masala and mix well.Set aside to marinate for 10 minutes.

- Add ground paste to the pan,mix well and saute for a minute.
- Add remaining pav bhaji masala, remaining red chilli powder, remaining turmeric powder,cumin powder, coriander powder and remaining garam masala powder,mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add in marinated chicken, chopped tomatoes and plain yoghurt,mix well and cook.Add salt,give a nice stir and cook on high heat for a minute.Cover and cook on low heat for 25 minutes or till the chicken is fully done.
