Chicken Dilkhush is the best recipe and family's favourite. This chicken recipe is prepared with the combination of milk and cashew nut paste, which makes the dish tremendously tasty and yum.

Ingredients and spices that need to be Make ready to make Chicken Dilkhush:

  1. 1 kg chicken
  2. 3 onions slices
  3. 1 tbsp ginger paste
  4. 2 tbsp garlic paste
  5. 2 nos chopped tomato
  6. 2 nos bay leaf
  7. 4 tbsp oil
  8. 1 tbsp Ghee
  9. to taste Salt
  10. 200 ml Sweet curd
  11. 2 tsp cumin powder
  12. 1 tbsp coriander powder
  13. 1 tbsp kasuri methi
  14. 4 nos green chilli
  15. 1 tbsp turmeric powder
  16. 2 tbsp coriander leaves chopped
  17. 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  18. 3 nos green cardamom
  19. 4 nos clove
  20. 1 egg
  21. 1 tbsp cornflour
  22. 7 nos cashew nuts paste
  23. 2 cups Milk

Instructions to make Chicken Dilkhush

  1. Marinate the chicken with egg, salt to taste, sweet curd, cornflour, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp, then mix well and keep a side for 10 minutes,
  2. Then heat oil in a kadai, then fry the chicken batch by batch, keep aside. Then heat the remaining oil,add ghee,add cloves, cardamom, bay leaf cook for 6 seconds, then add onion, chilli, cook for 2 minutes, then add remaining ginger garlic paste, tomato slices, pinch of salt cook for 5 minutes,
  3. Then add fried chicken pieces, coriander powder, cumin powder mix well, cover and cook for 10 minutes in low flame, then add cashew nut paste, milk, chopped coriander leaves, kasuri methi, and garam masala powder. Mix thoroughly again cover and cook for 5 minutes. Serve hot with rice / roti.
